+ | Rolled credits June 26th. Definitely glad I played on easy, the combat would wear out its welcome if difficult. I can see the serious problems with the game, and some of the disjointed feeling. It's like a conceptually strong first act from one game and a clever third-act story conceit from another game got glued together by a muddied and politically problematic act two. But despite that, it was *fun* as a barrage of weird ideas, big setpieces and strong character performances. I'd say I enjoyed it more than Bioshock, even though that game is more thematically coherent and mechanically crunchier. Higher highs, lower lows in Infinite. | ||
