Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island

Played on an emulator in high school. Despite a problematically long name and famously annoying crying baby sound effects, this is an incredible game showing off some of the fanciest tech the SNES was capable of, and Nintendo's prowess at jumping from one gameplay mode to another throughout a single game. The bosses that take advantage of elaborate sprite capabilities, like walking around a planet or being inside a flexible stomach were particularly memorable.
