Myst V: End of Ages

Cyan Worlds, Ubisoft

Building on the story of Uru which I think most people missed, this game really felt like it was for the fans more than anything else. The core tablet-drawing mechanic was a neat idea but also a departure for the series, and perhaps missing some of the magic of gradually puzzling out the world. Also the move to 3D-rendered characters, more forgivable in Uru since it was such a different game, feels out of place here.
