The closest thing I played as a kid was Pente. Jeff Hinschberger played Go so I learned a little in undergrad.

I've wanted to learn more for a while, so during our 2021 holiday I picked up a Go book at Powell's, and I've started playing regularly online in January 2022. I'd like to rank up to 9k. I'm playing on https://online-go.com (profile).
