Fallout: New Vegas

Started while Alleson was on a road trip with family, with just a few mods enabled for stability. It's officially “retro” by now.

It takes a few restarts to get through the first few hours of the game, and for the first ten hours or so I don't really see why this game has a reputation for good writing. Later on it sets in that this is more a story about groups of people than it is about individuals, and maybe that's what people find appealing about it. I also suspect the lack of fetch quests and collect-a-thons was more groundbreaking when this game came out. I'm still not enamored with it, but I do want to finish it.
