Released by SE Software in 1984. One of my first platformers. C:HoV was a crazy difficult game and I rarely made it past the first screen, much less the second. But the highly detailed graphics, the well-designed sound, the idea of boomerangs for weapons kept me coming back for more. I've gone back to try this and the less-than-responsive control makes the game feel pretty broken. Oh well - to a five-year-old, this was awesome.
