Backgammon

An ancient game.

A game I used to think of as old and boring, until a cell phone version allowed me to play several games and start picking up on the strategy. Maybe one of the earliest examples of a great balance of luck and skill, where the winner thinks their skill won the game and the loser believes their luck lost the game.
