Started on Android in February 2022. Obviously borrows a lot from [[Journey]] in use of music, palette, lots of sliding in the movement mechanics. I find myself a little frustrated by the pace having just reached "Blue" - there's a decent amount of knowing what I need to do and spending a long time running from point a to point b. It's pretty, sure, but not revealing a lot of new interest during that movement, especially with a little backtracking. Also it seems to be a pretty abstract emotional journey, I'm wondering if it'll connect better near the end. | Started on Android in February 2022. {{tag>videogame played "played in 2022" "played on Android"}} | Wrapped up within a couple of weeks. Control for the swimming segments was especially finicky and frustrating on mobile. On the whole it's very pretty but in wireframe I didn't find the platforming/exploration particularly compelling, and I didn't "get" the underlying story. Also, was this made entirely by men? |
