Created in 2007 by Rod Humble. A great micro-illustration of meaning-through-mechanics, although I prefer A Mother in Festerwood for that because it's less abstract. Also sort of a depressing take on marriage, but also a realistic one - you absolutely give something up as part of a marriage (or any commitment). Ideally you go into this eyes open, and what you build together is worth what you both gave up.
