The closest thing I played as a kid was Pente. Jeff Hinschberger played Go so I learned a little in undergrad.

I've wanted to learn more for a while, so during our 2021 holiday I picked up a Go book at Powell's, and I've started playing regularly online in January 2022. I'd like to rank up to 9k. I'm playing on https://online-go.com (profile).

I've got a list of my biggest mistakes, hoping I can learn from them.

• Jan 10, 2022: 17.8k ± 2.0 (28 games, mostly 9×9)
• Jan 24, 2022: 16.5k ± 1.5 (60 games, mostly 9×9)
