A gift from Yotam. Finally played through to the last boss in August 2023. Didn't expect it to be vaguely Zelda-like. Also notable, there's an enormous amount of UI work that went into this game, very appreciated - the map is essentially a robust checklist for the game.
I find myself unsatisfied with my time spent on it though, in part because I found the difficulty curve very uneven. Most rooms are very feasible or have some trick or approach that unlocks them, but on many bosses I found myself repeating roughly the same strategy for mind-numbing hours on end, waiting for the right collision of skill and luck to appear long past any interesting variation in the challenge. (Not a pro gamer.) One I'd seen the third phase of the final boss I quit, having no interest in repeating that challenge for another four hours to see an ending.
