Clue

Or “Cluedo” if you prefer. Designed in 1949 by Anthony E Pratt. Introduced to this game in my T.A.G. program in elementary school. It seemed fairly simple. It wasn't until I was asked to code an AI for the game in my undergrad that I realized the many subtle strategies in use in high-level play. It's as much about hiding information as it is about revealing it. Deceptive, and wickedly clever!

I have attempted to mod this game (RPS's Cluedo challenge) and found it was really difficult to do anything else that was interesting with the board, cards, or pieces. What do you call a game whose pieces are only useful to itself?
