A worth successor to the old Genesis games. It's a neat update aesthetically and mechanically, capturing some of the good things and avoiding some of the bad. I had fun speedrunning the first level of this game over and over after I beat it.  Also, at the time it was a big deal for Sonic to show up on a Nintendo system!
