====== Carmageddon ======
Released in 1997 by Stainless Games. Okay, I know this one is supposed to be terrible, but my friend [[:people:Liam Rosen]] and I would play the demo of this game over and over.  It's not about the racing, not at all... instead, it's about the wacky powerups, and smashing cars, and wandering around the huge detailed map trying to figure out how to get to the top floor of that building, or into the concrete pipe being hoisted by that crane.  I think "Crazy Taxi" is a spiritual successor to this, but I have no proof.
